Description:
A Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of the inbound and outbound traffic, managing the buying and delivery process of goods or services and the placement and delivery of purchase orders. This is a very high profile and responsible role within an organisation, requiring someone who is extremely organised and can cope well under pressure. The job holder will need to acquire product specific knowledge for all products.
Main Activities
Ensure product is made available in Europe at our warehouse provider according to supply plans and sales forecasts.
Own supply/demand balances (6 months) and manage these to be synchronized with business requirements. Implement resulting actions such as product/order allocations.
Review and appraise the supply/demand plan and initiate and implement improvements to the process.
Co-ordinate the effects on availability of short and medium term manufacturing options and constraints.
Provide expert advice and administration to business in terms of international trade related regulations, and ensure the implementation of these requirements within the relevant business processes.
Manage and execute all re-packaging, sieving and other activities at our warehouse service provider
Work closely with the US and Asian plant production planners and customer service personnel scheduling exports.
Interface with sales and other functions to ensure product availability.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with 3rd parties

Profile:
Diploma: Bachelor (Bac +3)
Language: Fluent English and speaks Mandarin. Other languages such as Dutch, German, French or Italian are a plus.
Other skills:
· Demonstrate ability to use IT systems available like SAP, CRM, Excel and other
· Understand and recognize own impact on overall supply chain and order process.
· Knowledge of capabilities and restrictions of supply points (including 3rd parties)
· Knowledge of business drivers/strategies and supply related policies derived from them.
· Knowledge of the main product characteristics, interchangeability and quality issues.
· SAP experience in Planning, Logistics and Supply Chain functions as related to manufacturing and replenishment of warehouses would be a benefit.
· Good understanding of financial terms
